Credit Key is a B2B financing solution that enables merchants to offer instant business financing at the point of sale. Customers complete a short application to receive a business line of credit (up to $50,000 for eligible businesses), then use that credit line to complete purchases through the Credit Key checkout experience.

How Credit Key Works

The Credit Key customer journey consists of two stages:

1. Customer Applies

Customers complete a short online application to receive an instant credit decision. Once approved, they receive a Credit Key business line of credit that can be used immediately with participating merchants.

Applications can be launched:

During checkout
From an "Apply Now" page
From your website navigation
From an ERP or CRM workflow
From email campaigns or other customer touchpoints

2. Customer Checks Out

When the customer is ready to make a purchase, they select Credit Key during checkout.

If they already have an approved Credit Key account, they simply authenticate and choose their repayment terms. If they haven't yet applied, they can complete the application during checkout before finishing their purchase.

Once the order is authorized, merchants manage the remainder of the order lifecycle using the Credit Key API.
