Settlements
Learn about settlement reports and disputes.
Credit Key provides automated, transparent settlement reporting to help merchants reconcile all Credit Key–funded transactions within their accounting or ERP systems. After a customer completes a purchase and the merchant captures the payment, funds are deposited via ACH within 1 to 2 business days. Settlement reports allow merchants to track these deposits alongside order activity, refunds, fees, and adjustments.
Merchants can receive settlement reports through two delivery methods: SFTP or email notification.
Settlement reports via SFTP(Recommended for Automated Reconciliation)
Credit Key supports secure SFTP delivery of settlement reports directly to a merchant’s server. This is ideal for ERP integrations, automated ingestion pipelines, or accounting workflows that require hands-off daily processing.
Once configured, Credit Key will push a reconciliation CSV file to the merchant’s SFTP endpoint on a defined schedule. Merchants simply ingest the file from the remote path and process it in their internal systems.
Required SFTP Fields
To enable SFTP delivery, merchants must provide:
- Send Reconciliation Report via SFTP
- SFTP Hostname
- SFTP Username
- SFTP Remote Path (optional)
- SFTP Authentication Via
- SFTP Authorized Key or Password: The SSH public key (preferred for security), or An SFTP password for password-based authentication.
Once saved, Credit Key will initiate secure transfers using the provided credentials and upload location.
Settlement reports via email
For merchants who prefer manual review or do not have SFTP infrastructure, Credit Key offers daily settlement reports delivered via email notification.
Reports include the same fields as SFTP-delivered files and can be downloaded directly from the email attachment or accessed through the Credit Key Merchant Portal. This option is ideal for smaller teams or workflows that do not require automated ingestion.
